Helen McCreadie,
Office Manager


For those looking to start a small business or requiring assistance with their existing business, Helen at the BDC can provide that much needed help. She has been employed by the BDC since 1995 and enjoys the variety her position offers. In her capacity as a loans officer she assesses potential borrowers and prepares and presents loan applications to the Board of Directors for approval.



Marc Aquilina,
Self-Employment Programs Coordinator


Marc has been with BDC since March 2007 and brings to his position a wide range of experience and knowledge. He is committed to providing quality service to his clients. Marc is responsible for the implementation and administration of all government-sponsored self-employment programs. He assists clients with entrepreneurial readiness, business plan development, selection process, training and mentoring.



Sheryl MacGibbon,
Administrative Assistant


Sheryl has been with the BDC since July 2006 and provides strong administrative support. She has owned and operated her own business since 1994 and brings her extensive entrepreneurial experience to her position. Sheryl is proficient in numerous computer software programs and has expert bookkeeping knowledge.
