Important to Know

Immigration and Immunization All cruise tour members must be in possession of a valid passport for six months beyond the duration of the cruise. No visas are required on this itinerary for Canadian or American citizens. Other nationalities are recommended to check with Brinkman Travel. Currently this itinerary does not require any immunizations.

Reservations and Payments An amount of $1895 per person plus insurance premium is due at the time of booking. Please complete a registration form and submit with your deposit cheque made payable to Brinkman Travel Inc and mailed/delivered to Brinkman Travel Inc, 3 Mountainview Drive, St. Catharines, L2T 3H3, Canada. Final payment is due by January 7, 2008.

Group Price The special group prices shown are based on Brinkman Travel's allocation of cabins. Bookings outside of the allocation are based on available cabin space and rates at the time of booking. The included taxes and fees are based on our contract as per February 12, 2007 and are subject to change beyond our control. The quoted cruise price is not subject to GST.

Change Charges To cover administrative costs, a $25 per erson charge will be made if you request a change in your travel arrangements after a deposit for your cruise has been made but before January 7, 2008. Change charges are not assessed for stateroom upgrades or for the addition of services, unless air reservations are altered and/or travel documents must be reissued.

Cancellation Fees Cancellations are subject to the following maximum cancellation charges in addition to the insurance premium:

Up to January 7, 2008 up to CA $1250 per person
Later cancellation 100%

If you need to cancel, you must notify Brinkman Travel in writing. Brinkman Travel Inc will refund all money paid towards the tour less the applicable cancellation fee. These charges apply to the cruise only, and do not include applicable cancellation charges for any extra arrangements.

Insurance Cancellation/interruption insurance protecting you from any penalties in the event you would need to cancel or unexpectedly interrupt your vacation due to medical reasons to yourself or someone in the immediate family is highly recommended. In the event of a cancellation, the premium remains non refundable. We strongly recommend you also purchase medical emergency insurance protection and the optional baggage, possessions and valuables protection as well as air accident insurance. The premium is pending upon age and if over the age of 59 upon medical history.

Shared and Single Accommodation Single passengers must indicate at the time of booking whether they wish to share a cabin or if they prefer a single cabin at a supplement. Your cabin mate, if known, should also be indicated. There are a limited number of triple and quad cabins.

Holland America Line's Gratuity Policy A gratuity of US $10 per guest per day for dining and stateroom services will be automatically added to your shipboard account on a daily basis (total US$100 per person). Should you wish to make adjustments, you may do so at the end of the cruise by contacting the ship's front office.

Physical Disabilities Any physical disability requiring special attention or treatment must be reported when reservations are made. Brinkman Travel and/or their agents reserve the right to accept or retain anyone who may, in their sole judgment, require care and attention beyond that which can be provided. Holland America Line (HAL) has a limited number of staterooms designed for wheelchair access. If you need one, please book early.

Travel Documentation Cruise tour documents (flight itinerary, passenger list, packing list, luggage tags, and cruise documents etc.) will be handed out or mailed three weeks prior to departure.

Baggage Policy Each person on the Brinkman Travel cruise tour is limited to two pieces of checked baggage and one overnight or light flight bag which must remain in your custody at all times. Neither Brinkman Travel nor HAL assumes any liability for loss or damage to or delay of any item.

Responsibility Brinkman Travel Inc of St .Catharines, Ontario acts as an agent for the various owners or contractors providing transportation and other services for the cruise tour members. Brinkman Travel Inc shall not be liable or held responsible directly or indirectly for any delay, injury (including death), loss of enjoyment, personal and/or property caused to any person, company or association providing accommodation, transportation, or other services in connection with the cruise tour. The right is also reserved to decline or retain persons as members of the cruise tour, in which case equitable refund will be made at the discretion of the operators. In the event of the cruise tour being canceled prior to initial embarkation Brinkman Travel's sole responsibility shall be the refund of cruise fares paid by the participant.
