Accountants (CGA's)
Shipperbottom Scott Forbes was formed on December 1, 1987.
"The CGA association of Ontario is an association of
professional accountants who meet the Associations' rigorous
requirements of professional competence, are bound to a
uniform standard of conduct and are entitled, under Acts of
both the Parliament of Canada and the Legislature of the
Province of Ontario, to the designation of CGA."
CGA's in public practice are subject to a peer review every
three years and are required to carry professional liability
insurance and regularly undertake professional development.
Shipperbottom Scott Forbes has three offices with
approximately 25 staff members.
Our Niagara Falls office was set up by Mr. L. S.
Shipperbottom, CGA in 1981.
Our St. Catharines office was set up by Mr. D. W. Scott, CGA
in 1980.
Our Fort Erie office was originally set up by a
predecessor firm in 1980 and has been managed by Mr. J. R.
Forbes, B. Admin., CGA since February 18, 1989.
Shipperbottom Scott Forbes provide services to a wide range
of clients from small proprietorship's to multi-million
dollar corporations.
Our Fort Erie office has taken a keen interest in the non-
profit segment of the community and provides monthly and
year end accounting services to these types of
organizations.
