| Take the east bound exit to Highway 2. Take Highway 2 Northbound to Edmonton. Highway 2 will change into Gateway Boulevard. Continue North until you reach Whitemud Drive and take the Westbound Exit. Continue on Whitemud, then take the Fox Drive exit. Turn left at Fort Edmonton Park road and proceed, following signs to the hotel. Take Highway 2 North bound to Edmonton and follow directions as listed above. | Johnsons Cafe Casual dining. Hotel Selkirk was purchased in 1913 by Robert McDonald, who was well known in the Edmonton area for his sports promotion work. McDonald renovated and expanded the hotel to include Johnsons Cafe in 1922. This restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 730am-9pm. Call 780-496-7227 for dinner reservations. Seats up to 72 people. Semi-private area available for up to 20 people. Mahogany Room Stand-up Bar. Open daily from 12pm-10pm. Once known as Canadas longest bar, the Mahogany Room stand-up bar is architecturally designed with an enriched mahogany decor to replicate the original setting. |
