As the only Canadian Winery to bring home a medal from the ‘Rieslings
of the World Competition 2001 held in Strasbourg, France, we are very proud of our Riesling Icewine. This delicate Icewine was the only Grand Gold Medal awarded in this competition. Lacey and fine, this rare Riesling Icewine is the first release for Vineland Estates in 10 years. Orange and quince highlight the nose while full tones of dried peach and apricot fill the palate. This wine also won the Gold Medal at the Air Ontario Competition in 1999.

This classically structured wine was awarded a Gold Medal at Vinitaly in Verona, Italy and it has all of the elegance of an ultra-premium white Burgandy. Fermentation in French oak and an additional ten months aging in French oak gave this wine a wonderful toffee overtone with ripe pear nuances.
