Guilty Untill Proven Innocent

Thats how the internet will operate in Canada following the passage of Bill C-36, an "anti-terrorist" law that will have the effect of shutting down all political dissent in Canada.

Based on the sworn testimony of a complaintant, a judge will be able to order any material online removed, untill a hearing determines if the material does or does not promote negative feelings toward any special interest group.

The publisher of the material will have to prove the webpage was NOT offensive, and the webpage will remain down untill ALL appeals are exhausted... a matter of years.

Under this legislation, truth will not be a defence.

The result of this is that left wing special interest groups will be able to shut down any website that promotes any view not in keeping with their view of a new improved Canada.
