Self proclaimed civil rights lawyer CLAYTON RUBY is representing the federal government in the challenge by six provincial and territorial govenments of the Feds right to legislate controls on personal property.
Mr Ruby claims that parliament has decided that all guns are inherently dangerous and that is why they extended hand gun controls and restrictons to ALL guns. If the firearms act passes this challenge, only people that obtain a licence and register their firearms will possess them legally. "There is no constitutional right to have a gun in your home; it's a liberty Canadians have had for a long time , but times have changed" says Ruby. How nice, once again the powers that be will decide the rights and freedoms that canadians are entitled to.
There are natural rights that can not be taken away. the right to self defence is a fundamental natural right. By attacking this right the federal government has acted in an illegal and criminal manner. They have gone far beyond the bounds of their mandate, and have become a force of oppression. What I find truly ironic is that Civil rights lawyers are helping them. In the United States, civil rights lawyers fight to preserve personal freedom, not work with the government to eliminate it.
Ruby states that the Feds could have banned all guns if they wanted to but chose instead to go the registration route. If I had my choice, I would prefer that they did. Ban all guns tomorrow, then maybe Canadians will then see the true motives and ideology of our current criminal government, and maybe, just maybe they wil be moved to action.
Unfortunately, 30 years of socialist conditioning have prepared canadians to accept any and all restrictions and limits on their rights and freedoms
With this government action and statements by Mr Ruby we clearly see that the government has decided what rights it will graciously allow Canadains to have, to what extent, and for how long. All freedoms and rights wil be allowed for only as the government sees fit
Canada is no longer a free country, we are owned by the government. all your rights flow from and can be removed by the government of Canada. You have no natural rights. There is no freedom you enjoy that the government of canada will respect.
Ruby said that Parliament and the Supreme court of canada now take the view that firearms are "always a weapon, always dangerous, and that they represent the ultimate threat of death"
So, the Federal government regards all gun owners as potential murderers, and must take away their guns before any one else gets killed.
Ruby further states that "handguns have no use (in canada) only because we have legislated against them; if we had followed the U.S., every home would have one".
Do not be deceived, the long range plans for Canada include the elimination of ALL privately held firearms. the only thing to be worked out is the timetable. All the laws to accomplish this are now in effect, including provisions for "Orders in council" to summarily and without warning ban whole classes of weapons. No discussion, no debate, your legally held and REGISTERED weapon can be outlawed and confiscated at a moments notice.
The same day that I had to read this sickening pseudo-commie crap, there was an article regarding a speach given by Charlton Heston, vice president of the National Rifle Association. He reminded his listeners that self defence is a natural right, and that guns are needed not only to defend against personal attacks, but are in fact the cornerstone of freedom. All other rights flow fron the right to defend yourself. this includes defence against oppression. Mr Heston goes on to point out that all the major holocausts have occured in countries where there is gun control. It's hard to round people up to send off to camps when they're firing at you with automatic weapons.
This whole gun control thing, this death by degrees reminds me of the anti-Jewish program of the Nazis. Law were passed for years restricting Jewish rights and freedoms. However, the response was always the same:
