Mike Healey's Hockey Camps : Angling and Contact Clinics

This program is best used before the season begins, and with the younger age groups. Recommended for ages 7 and up.
As well as the best before the season a regular program from 6 to 10 sessions should be scheduled during the season per group.
Angling section teaches positional play and seeing the entire ice surface. Players are taught to read the play and postion themselves accordingly.
The slow demise of rough contact will result in the greater need for angling. Angling will help the players force the opposition out of the plays without unnecessary contact!!
Checking is still being used and still needs to be taught. These sessions give the players the confidence to give and receive a clean check..
These clinics teach players to use the boards as an advantage when taking a check.
Time Recommendations = basics in a week and as above
