USE OF RESOURCE LIBRARY - Last Wednesday of each month 1 - 5 p.m. or by appointment

Genealogy enthusiasts are welcome to use our sizeable collection of family histories and research resources as well as access our database of more than 54,000 names. There is a user fee of $20.00 per hour for anyone who uses our resource library. The minimum charge is $20.00 but subsequent charges will be calculated per ½ hour block. We encourage you to donate a copy of your own family research to our collection so that it will add to the greater picture and, hopefully, provide some missing pieces to other researches. There will be no charge for the first hour of research time for anyone who makes a donation to our resource library.

PHOTOCOPIES

Photocopies can be made of specific pages from any of the resource materials in our collection at a cost of 25 cents per page.

PICTURE SCANNING

If you wish, we can scan your family photographs and save them to disk. They can then be viewed on your own computer, arranged and printed on a sheet of paper for framing, or imported into your family history file on family tree maker. The charge is $1.00 for a 3.5" floppy disk and $2.50 per picture or $10.00 for five pictures.

DATA PRINT OUTS

The data and family connections for over 54,000 people have now been painstakingly entered into our computer and a 1,000 page index is available to you. You may copy specific facts out by hand at no charge, or a print out will be made for you of family outlines, descendants charts, or kinship reports at a cost of $15.00 per page. Pedigree charts are calculated at $2.50 per name entry.

CUSTOM DESIGNED AND BOUND FAMILY HISTORIES

If you find that much of your family history has already been entered into our computer, you may wish to order a custom prepared family history. This will include the pedigree chart of the person who is ordering the book, a kinship report listing the name, birth date, and relationship of each person in the report to the purchaser, and outlines of each family to which that person belongs. The cost of the report is determined by the amount of information available at a rate of $5.00 per page. The minimum charge is $150.00 . The report will be bound with a spiral binding between laminated covers for a binding fee of $10.00 . Additional copies for other family members may be ordered at half the price of the first copy, or $2.50 per page, up to a maximum of $50.00 .

DATA ENTRY OF YOUR OWN FAMILY RESEARCH

It is entirely possible that no connection has yet been established between your family and anyone in our database. Many genealogy enthusiasts have been gathering and organizing their research quite satisfactorily on hand- or type-written sheets of paper for years and have not gone to the expense of purchasing a home computer and a genealogy software program. Should you like the format of our family history reports and wish to have your own research entered into a separate computer file and published in a similar manner, you may contract us to do the data entry for you. The cost of $200. Covers the data entry of up to 500 individuals and one copy of the family history report. Additional copies can be ordered at a cost of $2.50 per page or $50.00 per book, whichever is less.

We are genealogy enthusiasts ourselves and are enthusiastically working on this project for the fun and sense of accomplishment that we derive from solving challenging family history puzzles. We believe in the free exchange and sharing of information and would like to be able to give the results of our research away for free. However, because we face considerable overhead and research related costs, we must ask that those who share in the benefits of our work, also share in some of the expenses.

People with limited funds can still access all of our research materials at absolutely no cost if they are willing to share their own research with us and take the time required to copy the information out by hand. It is only when you wish to use our equipment or seek our assistance that there is a cost factor.
