Who will represent Battlefields Council at the
2008 Scouts
Until now the three Voting Members representing our Council
at the National AGM have been selected by the Council Management
Committee. On
Battlefields Council will conduct the first annual election, for the 2008 Voting Members, in the three month period April to June 2008. We need this time period to obtain nominations for candidates; for Groups to select Council Voting Reps to represent them in the voting process; and for the one month posting period required by the policy.
We expect to complete the whole election process via the
internet and will post details on the Battlefields

It is important that all Areas and Groups participate in this process as these votes provide us the most effective way of expressing our agreement or non-agreement with how the National organization operates.
